NOTE: 

Subject: Four weeks training to 5th Semester of Computer Engg. and Information Technology courses. The training is mentioned in first paragraph on page 112 under Minor Project Work. 

The first paragraph in both the curriculum may be read as: "Minor Project Work aims at exposing the students to the various industries dealing with computers. It is expected from them to get acquainted with Industrial environment at the shop floor and possess desired attitudes. For this purpose students during middle of the course are required to be taken for a minimum of 3 visits to related industries. 

Some of the suggested areas for students’ exposure are as follows: 

1. Industrial practicles in installation and maintenance of computers and computers networks. 

2. Fabrication of computers                                                                                                        

3. Fault diagnosis and testing of computers.

4. Industrial practicles in respect of documentation and fabrication.                                                  

5. A variety of computers and peripherals in assembly organizations                                               

6. Software package development organizations.
